Chevrolet Avalanche Recalls
The Avalanche has been recalled 21 times. The 2003 and 2004 model years have been involved in the most campaigns.
Recalls are free repairs, initiated by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration or Chevrolet itself, for a widespread safety problem. They might be a pain, but a recalled problem is better than an ignored one.

Earlier this year, General Motors (GM) announced a preliminary recall for 1.9 million vehicles with Takata airbag inflators.
